The Nook Biography

The Nook Creperie Inc. was established in December of 2008 and is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Kate and Brandon.
 
Brandon is originally from the Ottawa Valley, but called Toronto his home for many years, along with his wife Kate. Brandon worked in the food industry for a number of years in Toronto, and has always had a passion and apt for fine international cuisine.
 
Kate is not local, but has family in the area, and many north of the Ottawa River in Quebec, as well as family in France, where she used to reside and returns to quite frequently. Kate also worked in the restaurant and food industry in Toronto, and spent much time in France experimenting with French and fusion cuisine.
 
Both Kate and Brandon love to travel and to explore worldly cuisine and thrive on incorporating their food experiences into the versatile crêpe concept. They believe that great food, excellent wine, lovely music and stimulating friends and family is all you need to have a great time, and this is the positive vibe they seek to infuse into their restaurant's ambiance.

Crisp romaine lettuce tossed in or homemade deluxe Caesar dressing made with lots of garlic, fresh parmesan cheese and other delicious secrets! Topped with real bacon and a wedge of lemon.

The Nook Salad - Salade Le Nook
 
Fresh green lead lettuce tossed in our homemade white-wine and herbs-de-Provence vinaigrette. Topped with feta cheese and our crunchy honey-roasted walnuts.

Salade Francaise
 
A very simple, light and classic salad from France! Fresh green lettuce tossed in our homemade white-wine and Dijon vinaigrett. Garnished with fresh tomatoes.

Salade Modena
 
Crisp green lead lettuce, tossed with our homemade vinaigrette made with reduced balsamic vinegar, garlic, basil and olive oil. Topped with red onion and goat cheese.

Quebecoise
Savoury crepe with two fully-cooked eggs which have been cracked and cooked on the crepe, mixed with melted Italian mozzarella cheese. Topped with 100% pure Canadian maple syrup.

Popeye
